We called it Wahoo!

We we were in our twenties, a friend and I created a game board and various pieces, mostly wine corks painted and bedazzled. There was no point to the game but it was fun to take to bars with us and shaking dice and moving pieces. People would gather around us and cheer us on. We ended calling it Emperor's New Clothes because so many people would pretend they knew what the game was and how it was won!

Reminds me of your Epic Star Trek and dilithium crystal game! Just a side note. Yesterday, while purging some books I found one of my sons' old Guide to Speaking Klingon book. Fantasy is so intriguing!Tonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05187611054293001721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1216849284613897226.post-88041055467023352052015-11-24T07:19:16.199-08:002015-11-24T07:19:16.199-08:00Life was fun! I loved playing it with my kids when they all lived at home. I hope you enjoyed your game.

Sometimes my husband and I like to play a simple game of Rummy. It's like being on a see-saw. He'll be up and then I will, but the challenge is always there.Tonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05187611054293001721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1216849284613897226.post-43734221999344455182015-11-24T07:00:49.832-08:002015-11-24T07:00:49.832-08:00We had the classics, like checkers, Chinese checke...We had the classics, like checkers, Chinese checkers, parcheesi and Monopoly. My sister and I used to make our own board games. I remember we made this EPIC one that involved Star Trek and dilithium crystals or some damn thing, LOL!Debra She Who Seekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01845703092794695023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1216849284613897226.post-91825798974953039992015-11-24T06:39:06.637-08:002015-11-24T06:39:06.637-08:00I loved board games as a kid but haven't playe...I loved board games as a kid but haven't played in a very long time. My late husband, son and I played Monopoly often but that was another lifetime ago. My absolute favorite of all time...Life! I love that spinner and the little cars with the pegs in them..lol. Great memories of playing that as a kid. We've yet to open it, but maybe tonight is going to be board game night. :)Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17697779460254600164noreply@blogger.com
