I would imagine that fairies love the twinkling bulbs and icicles. They do tend to be a little showy but gnomes are more comfortable in the shadows.
Maybe I'll leave a little cheese out for them tonight to go with their wine and bread.
My gnomes are totally spoiled. Right now they are hanging out
ReplyDeleteon my bedroom dresser sneaking the leftover wine from New Year's.
I have a large gnome who watches over the pool. The other little ones hang out by the wood stove,probably depressed that we haven't started a fire yet this year.

ReplyDeleteRaked the leaves in my yard and discovered over a dozen patches of mushrooms. Immediately grabbed my camera and the gnomes on the shelf! Always good to have a gnome or two around the house!
DeleteThey could probably care less about the lights, and more where the copious amounts of beer and wine are.

ReplyDeleteThis may sound weird but I never said I wasn't so no promises broken! I found that if you go out in the evening, light a little white candle and invite all the Elementals to your space and let them know it is a peaceful and accepting space, you will have a rush of happy souls. When I lived in the country, a Brownie (I swear I haven't been drinking) showed up and stayed with me for the rest of the time I lived there. He wouldn't move to town with us but stayed with the trees and pastures.

DeleteThis is such a cute gnome! I love gnomes. I put up a whole bunch of them all over my garden...much to the dismay of my neighbours :)
