Air quality is 78 this morning. The sky is blue, BLUE!
There are a couple of clouds and they are white, WHITE!
If you don't look to the west you would think it's a normal summer day.
Carr Fire containment is somewhere is 67 percent!
Fresh air is a good thing!
But even better than fresh air?
Firefighters, First Responders, Police Department, Utility Employees! Still kicking ash all over the west.

I'm glad things are getting better (and safer) for you. Edmonton is not threatened by any wild fires but we are still blanketed in smoke from British Columbia fires. *cough*
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised the whole continent isn't blanketed in smoke! No deep breathing until October, November at the latest!
Deleteawwwriiiiight! coming down the home stretch! all those brave first responders!
ReplyDeleteBlue sky, fresh air AND I found a huge stack of 78 records in the folk's garage! Mint condition. They sure did love their music!
DeleteI'm a horse headed to the barn!
First responders are priceless!
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteI was happy to read that evacuations have stopped for the fire. Those firefighters are extraordinary human beings.
ReplyDeleteYes they are.
Deletefirst responders made my heart believe in humanity that still exist on earth!
ReplyDeleteThey are truly heroes.
DeleteHi Toni :) You're so right about the firefighters...that is some scary stuff. We don't get many (if any) forest fires here because the mountains are quite humid in this area of Quebec. I'm very grateful for that!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a really good friend in over 2 months. She lives in the mountains and doesn't get cell reception. She has three cats and two old, old large dogs so I figured she wouldn't evacuate.
DeleteWe finally talked yesterday. I asked if she was home or on the coast? She stayed home and discovered one of the firemen was sleeping in his truck on his 24 hour shift off, then going back to fight fire for 24 hours.
He couldn't get into town because the highway was closed.
She rescued him! He has been staying with her on his 24 hour breaks. She's feeding him good (GOOD) food, giving him a good bed to sleep on and all the pet-love from her two big dogs. She's the best!
your few words have ocean within dear Toni!
ReplyDeleteheartiest prayers for firefighters !
Blue sky is window where just one look free my body from all pains and narrowness around
hugs!
So helpful! Thank you :-)
