I love football. I love board games. I do like to win.
My favorite thing in the world, though, is cooperation, collaboration, team work. There is nothing better to me than a well-oiled team.
Competition is really not my cup of tea. (Dang, who clicked my cliche button today?)
At the theater yesterday we saw a couple of "Coming Soon" posters and trailers that I found to be very disturbing....yes, more disturbing than a grandmother taking her wise-beyond-her-years teenage granddaughter!
Superman vs Batman
Iron Man vs Captain America
What the hell?
Why are we pitting good guy against good guy; hero against hero?
What is wrong with us?
Superman and I are leaving and we are not coming back until you all get your shit together and start getting along!

I can hardly wait for "Captain America: Civil War" *claps hands excitedly*
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter can't wait for Captain America: Civil Way! In a family that is Superman-crazy (key rings, car mats, sheets, socks, t-shirts (of every color and kind) pajamas; she is wild about Captain America. Go figure: Dead Pool and Captain America! At least she is well rounded!
DeleteSure are some strange movies out there.
ReplyDeleteYup! Sure are.
DeleteI just binge read your blog!!! You kept me good company while sipping coffee and waiting for the caffeine effects take over. Lots and lots of love!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the binge and the coffee. Lots of love back. How are you feeling?
DeleteI am not into these superhero movies at all ... well, except for Christian bale's Batman.
ReplyDeleteBen Affleck? Child, please.
My husband is a Marvel and SyFy maniac. I am not fond of Superhero movies but end up in the room while Batman or Superman or some guy in tights is fighting crime over and over and over. Thank goodness for Kindle!
DeleteI'm not really into the superhero movies. Although I love using the characters for my miniature photography blog :)
ReplyDeleteThat's where superheros belong!
DeleteLol I agree!! Superhero again superhero is just wrong. Besides, unless batman has some kryptonite, we all know who is going to win!
ReplyDeleteThat's another thing that bugs me! Where the hell do these guys get all that Kryptonite!
Deleteeither i don't like hero against hero dear ,i think hero should always be fighting for righteous things against villain ,
ReplyDeletemy son few days ago told me that he went with friends to watch Dead pool though it was quite hard to take some time for the movie from his really busy routine but he can't miss it
Dead Pool! A movie that I am partially ashamed to say I really liked it and will probably (head hanging low) see it again!
