Question of the Month

Mike Agostini's compelling Question of the Month is "What is your favorite thing that begins with a 'C'"!

Okay, I have to admit. As questions go this one might not be compelling but it is fun. Just check out all the links on his page of favorite C-things.

It's taken me a couple of days to think about it and I've felt a little bit like Dr. Suess while contemplating my favorite thing that begins with C.

Cake? It is not cake, "Sam I am, I do not like it here or there," I do not like cake anywhere.

Coal?  "Not in a house, not with a mouse."

Crayons? Nope, not my favorite but I do like them.

Crispy Cremes? Oops, that starts with a K, silly!

Cats? Not on a train or in a boat. Not in a car with a goat.

Cars? Nope, not that one either.

Coats? Carnivals? Castles?

"Oh! Oh! I know, I know!" (see hand raised and waving madly!)

Coconut cream pies! Oh my god! The rich cream filling, the thick whipped topping and a little toasted coconut sprinkled on top!

I hear Marie Callender's calling my name, my thighs and my wallet. A little like Bali Hai but no handsome man to see across the crowded room! Just me, a spoon and my pie!

  4. I haven't had coconut cream pie in forever! It's been so long that I can't even remember if I liked it or not :) Cats would have been my choice. And coffee. Not sure what else...

    1. I'm a dog person myself but when we lived in the country we had 4 labs and 5 cats. They all slept together in one big bundle. One of the cats was even named Dawg!

    1. Love Snickerdoodles but never think of them as cookies, just Snickerdoodles! Cookies is too broad a spectrum!
