The Saturday Before Christmas

To-Do List

(Really, gonna do the things on this one and only the things on this one)

1. Dutch Bros for large hot Kicker. (Irish cream latte)
2. Set Pandora for Christmas tunes.
3. Get back in pajamas ( nevermind, Dutch Bros is a drive-thru, I'll wear my pj's there.)
4. Wrap presents
5. Dance
6. Finish art work on Katie's present
7. Dance
8. Finish edges on Natalie's project
8. Switch from coffee to Royal Crown on ice.
9. Dance
10. Make another Royal Crown on ice.
11. Might try that dance move where you step on the top of the sofa and it gently falls back and Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire steps off and continues dancing.

11. Who cares!  Could be a good movie, a long nap, or the ER.....we'll see.

Not-To-Do list

(Really, not gonna do the things on this one)

1. Vacuum (Rex, no shedding today!)
2.  Shop
3.  Cook
4. Answer Phone ("The music was so loud, I guess I didn't hear it ring!"
5. Answer Door  ("I must have been in the shower because I didn't even hear Rex bark!")
6.  Visit FB
7.  Feel bad about being a toxic bitch. (I might even relish in it after my second Royal Crown).
8.  Finish this list....I'll figure out what I'm not going to do as the opportunity to not do them arises.

Have a great day, my friends.

  1. I don't know what is royal crown, but I am Googling right after this comment. I love the double dance part... It's been a month now that I have switched my daily cardio with dancing... I am really bad, but who cares, it is a lot of fun!

    1. Royal Crown is yummy and it inspires dancing. I did dance but sadly all my sofas are against a wall and, to be honest, I'm all yak and no shack, if you know what I mean. Maybe one of the days if someone will join me on couch or stand by to call 911!

    1. I'm so sorry about your broken arm. Are you at least getting to decorate it with Sharpies and maybe Bedazzle it a little!

  3. Now YOU know how to make a list! Good luck with that sofa dance move. I think that's how the dog's mother broke her arm, so be careful.

  6. dear, is it any wonder your dancing so much with so many Royal Crown on ice? My kind of gal!!!! And might a recommend when you do the sofa flip, not to wear good heels. Cheers to a great weekend friend!

    1. Thank you, weekend was Royal. No good heels anymore. I had two pit bull puppies that ate one of each pair of shoes. I took it as a sign from God that barefoot is best!

    2. BUT, barefoot calls for intense purple or deep blue polish. Barefoot doesn't have to mean naked!

  8. Sounds like a great day, especially all the dancing :) I even like your Not-To-Do list. The part about not answering the phone or the door is very appealing sometimes!

  11. Love your to-do list but be careful about that dancing and tipping the sofa - that looks like a tricky one to me but after a few Royal Crown on ices, you might be really good at it! Happy Christmas :) Thanks for stopping by my blog.
