In Like A LION...

Easter Sunday is going to be a beautiful day if the old expression about March is true. It is roaring like a lion for sure today.

The biggest storm of this winter is hitting us hard. The wind is knocking branches out of the Sycamore and the Cypress trees are almost bent over. One gust this morning knocked over bird bath and spinning wheel in back.

Weather people are predicting 4 to 6' of snow in the Sierras, the mountains east of us and same in the Trinities, mountains west of us. Road cams of I-5 north of us showed a long line of parked semis along the sides of road in both directions just north of Weed.

I was supposed to take some laundry soap to folks house and help Mom with laundry. She took a couple of falls and has some healing to do. We decided the wind was too much and she's feeling "goofy" (her word) today, so I'll go tomorrow.

Do you know what that means?

Exactly!

Got any suggestions for Netflix or Amazon marathon?

  2. WOW!! Y'all have some nasty weather up there. I have all the doors and windows open today. We won't have anymore rain until Sunday. The Texas weather armadillo named "Bee Cave Bob", said spring is here for us. Stay safe and warm, darlin.

So far March has arrived like a lamb. But like a good Canadian, I know that we'll have at least one big snow dump some time this month!

    1. I've been visiting your blog for awhile. I guess I haven't left a comment until now, sorry!

Also, I've had a problem leaving comments on some sites and they don't show up. Blogger gets a little testy now and then!

    1. It's crazy isn't it? The Guy says that after a storm the air is unstable. I think the climate is unstable!
