Sleeping -A Great Alternative!

Apparently, Cheeto Von Tweeto was on television this week. Missed it! Alternative was a good book, a glass of wine and cuddle with my pups.

Also, there was a Blue Moon Total Eclipse! Missed it! The universe scheduled the event in a very inconvenient time for me, but not for The Guy.  He also missed Tweeto's televised Mentiras Con Caca show because he was sleeping, preparing to arise at a quarter to WTF o'clock!

I was snug in bed while the guy stood in the cold, dark night clicking away at the moon. He says no howling was involved, but I have my doubts! Why get up in the middle of the night to stare at the moon if you are not going to howl?

The Guy drove to our secret watch-the-moon-rise spot to catch a photo of her coming over the mountains. Seems there was some clouds that delayed visibility but the pic is still a good one.

The moon was gorgeous, but, honestly, what full moon isn't? The Guy did get a portrait of her wrapped in a bit of a mist. First glance (and be honest) does the full moon make you giddy and romantic or do you find yourself looking over your shoulders for the werewolf that you are positive is going to be there?

Oh, yeah! About the eclipse! (Though I'm still a little puzzled why he chose to stand in the 42 degree temps when his wife is at home in bed and he knows how she gets during a full moon!).

His photos were stellar!

Love his photos and his inspiration to get out there and take them. Frankly, I think it was good for all involved that I wasn't compelled to take my camera and tripod out into the public in the dark!

    1. The Guy is a good photographer.

I laugh out loud just thinking about the name. My aunt is in her late 70's and she always cracks me up!

    1. I'll tell him you like them! If I'm getting up that early it better have something to do with vacation, beaches and a ride on a plane!
